PROJECT 1
COLOUR WHEEL
Colour is divided into three types which are PRIMARY COLOUR, SECONDARY COLOUR and TERTIARY COLOUR. These colour can be seen more clearer using colour wheel. Colour wheel is a basic reference material to analysis and choose the correct and suitable colour in composition. Colour research is an important thing for a photographer to learn because while researching we can apply the correct colour composition in our photos to make them look more interesting. Colour also can be used to create mood in photos. Other than that, the colours of an object or environment can be different depends on the light resources.
PRIMARY COLOUR
Primary colour is a colour that can't be created with mixing colours and the basic colour of primary colour is red, blue and yellow.
01 RED

This was taken outdoor when i'm walking beside a building and saw this huge red door with a grey wall. The wall with a lighter colour and the door with a brighter colour created a contrast look.
02 BLUE
SETTING :
APERTURE : F5.6
SHUTTER SPEED : 1/1600

I took a shot of this signboard in a park around 6:20PM. I used low view because the signboard is tall and i wanted to captured the clear blue cloud together with the signboard because it looked stunning.
03 YELLOW
SETTING :
APERTURE : F5.6
SHUTTER SPEED : 1/50

This was also found in a park the same time i took the blue signboard colour. The leaf in the background is darker than the flower making it look contrast and it took my attention to capture it.
SECONDARY COLOUR
Secondary Colour is a colour that can be created by mixing two basic colours. Colours that we can find in secondary colour are purple, orange and green.

Orange is a mix of red and yellow colour. I found this flower during my sister graduation near the hall where there was a garden full of flowers. Bright colour like orange colour gaves me happiness and positive vibes. Orange also is one of the warm colour that represent the bright and fierce.
02 GREEN

Green is a mix of yellow and blue colour. For this shot i took it at the gas station. I was in the car and i took this green coloured nuzzle while waiting for my parent to refuel the car.

This was also taken during a walk in the park when I noticed these bright coloured leaves which is red purple and decided to take a shot. Mixing red and purple is an unusual mix but they did give a nice colour. We can see that eventhough they are mixed, red is more dominant than purple.
